I would not be truly offended if a non-native made Native American Indian Art. If it was artwork that was offending Native American Indians that would be a different story. There should be some guidelines in what one can label as Native American Indian Art and who could call themselves a Native American Indian Artist. Right now,in America, it seems there is nothing holding back someone who is non-native to be able to label themselves as an Native artist. Who checks credentials? Is there a committee or board one has to go through to become an Native American Indian artist? I guess it is a matter of one's opinion as of right now.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[{"id":"14231219","body":"Look to the American Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990...","dateCreated":"1252958192","smartDate":"Sep 14, 2009","userCreated":{"username":"waqnahwew","url":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/view\/waqnahwew","imageUrl":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/pic\/1233252419\/waqnahwew-lg.jpg"}}],"more":0}]}],"more":false},"comments":[]},"http":{"code":200,"status":"OK"},"redirectUrl":null,"javascript":null,"notices":{"warning":[],"error":[],"info":[],"success":[]}}
