Idea: Mosaics
We decided to each make a mosaic but with each other.
We were going to try and incorporate turtles into our projects, because of how symbolic they are to our culture and plus we are each turtle clan. Once I (Rhiannon) had experimented and found out how hard it was just to lay the pieces down with the grout; we decided, so far, to just do what we want instead of being so specific. Part of original idea was also to use old dishes for the pieces of the mosaic and then the old dishes were harder to find than we thought! So then we decided to use tile or both, we had some donated and we bought some. So far the only place we bought some from was the Re-Store; which were very cheap! We also bought the grout from there, too, which was equally cheap!
